Geneva is a failed violinist. She is so bad, she can’t even play a sad song about it. At the precocious age of 17, Geneva quit the violin and received her very first applause break. The raucous applause of her friends and family on that day whet her appetite for approval on a mass scale.

After EVERY SINGLE University of California told Geneva that she was too good for them, she obtained her Bachelor’s in A DEGREE IS A DEGREE! CREATIVITY IS WORK TOO from York St. John University in the United Kingdom. It was in the UK that Geneva developed her suave and smooth stand up comedy practice. She was named “Second Funniest Jew” at the 2015 Jewish Comedian of the Year Competition in London. In 2016, she took a half-hour stand up show, “Messed Up,” to the Edinburgh, Camden, and Great Yorkshire fringe festivals.

In 2017 she returned to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her half-hour show, “Born with a Bush”.

Now living in Oakland, Geneva performs all over the Bay Area. She placed 3rd in the 2018 Rooster T. Feathers comedy competition and is now a regular host at the club. She has performed at SF Punchline, Cobbs, the Santa Cruz Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, Cinequest Film Festival, and Comedy Central’s Clusterfest Bay Area Showcase.

She produces three monthly shows in San Francisco. Read all about them on the Tour Dates page. (Really, please. Read about them! They are there for you! She put them there specifically so that you would read about them. So, please appreciate that.)

In addition to writing and performing standup, Geneva is a writer for Killing My Lobster, an SF-based sketch comedy group.
